Mission Statement
To provide alternative forms of special education based upon the abilities, skills, and natural tallents of each special needs child whose educational needs are not being adequately met within his or her current school setting.
To provide a unique educational program and environment  where each student can experience genuine success and the resultant feeling and knowledge that he or she is a uniquely valuable, worthwhile individual that the Heavenly Father has made for a specific purpose.
To advance abilities and enable parents and their special needs children to find their full potential in a healthy educational environment

VAST Network  (VAST, Also know as Varied Abilities School) was created under the covering and administration of VAST Network. We function as a church school under the law as a ministry of One Faith Ministries, an associate member of the American Evangelistic Association, in accordance with Alabama state laws for church schools. The school and Administrative offices are located in Hazel Green, AL. We cover families throughout Alabama and provide parent training to families across the US.

The purpose of our home school is to create alternative educational options for children with disabilities. VAST provides a church school covering for those families home educating their special needs children. Our school covers entire families whether all children have disabilities or only one has special needs.

Each child will be tested for placement and have an individualized education plan (IEP) which will be written by the education team which includes the school director and parent(s). The education team works together in providing the best educational program possible for the child. Curriculum is then recommended by the director. Ultimately, it is up to the parents to choose, purchase, and/or create the curriculum to meet each child’s current educational needs, based upon testing and the IEP. The parent is responsible for the education of the child, records and materials, and to stay in communication with the school through monthly reports and tele-conference attendance, and is considered an unpaid teacher with our school.

Professional development and training events are planned throughout the year for parents and teachers to attend. This is strongly recommended to our home schooling parents for help and training with the education of their special needs children. Each family will have access to one hour of consultation with the director per month (an average over the year.)

All tuition paid is non-refundable.
